HP Color LaserJet CP5525DN

Printer was a breeze to set up and produces high quality color and b&w prints. Much faster than our old color printer.

Pros:
+speed
+print quality
+automatic detection of paper type (card stock vs. plain paper, etc) and automatically adjusts print speed to ensure proper toner fusing
+easy setup
+easy networking

Cons:
-toner cost. To be fair, each cartridge handles a lot of pages, but it is a high upfront cost to purchase a full set of cartridges

This model is possibly the worst Laser printer HP ever made..

It does one thing well, it is fast. We have 6 of them in our office and at this moment 5 out of 6 have or have had image problems. They seem to have defective Image transfer belts that are failing just out of warranty with not a 10'th of the wear life expectancy used. Never have seen a transfer belt that cost as much as the ones for these at over $800 as they are only available as part of maintenance kit. Seems to be a problem part as even getting replacements is near impossible as they are back ordered at most of our vendors. Company will not only not be buying this model again but may discard the others due to operational cost as toners are also expensive. If someone asked me what type of printer to buy HP was always at the top of my list but since my experience with this model I will cease to recommend them.

Not impressive with some print jobs

Does a very nice job except when using the multi-input tray. For example, when printing envelopes it takes 45 seconds and wrinkles them to boot.
