Bought other printer on sale $39.99 CANON pixma loud ink guzzler, shook table.Took back next day.
Bought this printer on sale $49.99 love it limited addition came with usb cord.
$10 more got a lot more usb cable ink that's available been printing pics 4x6's color ink use fine.
This printer is smooth not too loud and has excellent picture quality.
Have had for two months use daily.

This printer is just what my wife needed for her sewing room. It prints clearly for her patterns also! She loves it!

Avoid if you own a Mac

I bought this printer for $30 from WalMart. I plugged it in and OSX started looking for the driver. I have been using computers for three decades now and I am always pleased to see how easy they are to set up.

Except this driver was not found.

I used the disc that came in the box, did not work. I went online to HP's website, downloaded software and that did not work. I called HP tech support and for over 30 minutes we repeated everything I did previously and it did not work. THEN they mentioned that they have been having problems getting their printers to work on Mavericks, the OS that came out in October of last year. The OS with the quickest adoption rate of any OS.

HP is selling printers that don't work with most Macs after an hour of setup and they do nothing to inform the consumer of this. I had a Canon before and I am buying one again. HP lost a customer with this debacle.
