NOT NEW -- Foil wrapping cut open, print head doesn't work

This package arrived looking new. Even after I pulled it from the box i didn't notice at first that the foil wrapping around the package had been sliced open -- the foil had been folded over the cut, as if to hide the fact that it had already been opened.

That would be okay if the print head worked, but it does not. Neither of the black inks (one for pictures the other for every-day text printing) will print.

I will be requesting a return on this immediately.

I bought two of these print heads & sent one back because it wouldn't
print in black only.Needless to say I did not get a refund,
Then I bought a second one & it also will not print in black only.
Needless to say I'm through with canon products Especially Pixma printers.

pure crap

This was a brazen rip off - Chinese writing on the outside of the foil wrapper - opened it up to find a USED and STILL WET WITH INK print head that REFUSED to work. What a world we live in today where even grand old Amazon is purveying pure crap like this. How much fun was that?
