Label Printing Difficulties
There is a lot of misinformation going around about Zebra printers. I like many others have had a lot of difficulties trying to get several models of these little Zebra printers to work with a number of selling websites including PayPal USPS & UPS shipping labels, and also the UPS shipping website and the USPS site.

I called UPS and they told me that a number of of these printers won't work on their shipping website. They also told me that the Zebra ZP-450 CTP will only work with Worldship, a software package provided by UPS. The ZP-450 CTP printer won't work on their shipping website or with PayPal labels.

NOTE. The UPS website is not Worldship.

Though the Worldship software might be free, PayPal UPS accounts are blocked from working on Worldship. You would have to open a new UPS account. Since most of us are not large corporations, the shipping costs will be higher than through PayPal.

Refurb printer is great!

I saved gobs of money on this refurb-they are always a bit of a craps shoot, but I came out on top. Printer looks in perfect shape, all cords were present. I had a brief fight with installation on my Windows 7 64 bit system but that is a known problem with this model and was solved by the Seagull Scientific drivers (save yourself a couple hours snd just start with them instesd of the UPS/Zebra drivers). Printer works perfectly. Thanks very much!

Great label printer

I bought this printer used and it has never given me a problem. I've printed over $100,000 worth of postage with it over the last 3 years, according to the printer's test page statistics, it's printed 103,000 labels and it's still going strong. What I like is that you can get labels very cheap for it. It's not true that it only works with UPS. I use it for Fedex, USPS, and UPS. I currently use it with Endicia Dazzle and Shipworks, but I've used other software in the past including Shiprush, Ebay shipping, Paypal shipping, and it works with everything. I would not hesitate to recommend this printer to anyone.
