Prints like a charm!
I had been using an HP 2500 Color Laser printer (original price, close to $1,500) since early 2003. I am retired, and it had been loaned to me in exchange for some informal consulting to a project which I had helped to set up prior to retiring. The 2500 was noisy, and of late has presented issues with paper handling and jamming. The added additional paper tray stopped feeding paper a few years ago, so I have had to load paper in the main chute which sticks way out from the printer when it is open. So, although the 2500 printed well, and I was under no pressure to return it to its owner, I was ripe for a replacement, and I had been watching the 2605dn because I am generally satisfied with HP printers, and because I very much wanted the automatic 2-side printing.
