Overall a great printer
I really like the doublesided printing.
Besides the initial setup, the only complaint I have is that it takes about 15-20 seconds before it starts printing anything. Once it starts printing, it is pretty quick, just as quick or quicker than a laser printer. But the warm up time is pretty annoying. That is the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars.
Rugged and fast printer
This IS a large printer I am a realtor and wanted something solid and dependable that wouldn't choke at the wrong time. I really liked this printer when I first got it and now I love it. I need to read the documentation a little bit more as I have had a problem getting envelopes to feed right, but in fairness I haven't spent a lot of time figuring it out. I fell in love with the printer I used to simply like a lot tonight when I had a 35 page bundle of forms that I had to scan and forward right away. I hadn't spent a lot of time with the document feeder or the scanning process and the printer came through like a champ in what was a rushed situation for me. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the envelope problem and the documentation leaves something to be desired. I spent a lot of time researching all-in-ones before buying this and I am glad I made this choice. Brother has a good reputation. I haven't used the tabloid printing yet and that is one of the main reasons I bought...
