Great Printer
Just purchased this printer to print Quickbooks invoices and it works great. Easy to setup.
5 printer failed in 1 month!
First, i have to say that we (my company) did not purchase our printers through Amazon. I am simply looking for similar problems and possible replacement printers.
We have 3 OKI Data pritners purchased 3 or more years ago that were great! Reliable and never had a problem! Well, normal wear and tear is causing them to start failing. While those are out for replair, we ordered one through another vendor. The first printer (420n-Black) failed in 2 days! We started the RMA process and received another. Failed again! We are up to our 5th RMA.
The OKI tech suppor has confirmed that it is a failed mainboard. They also mentioned that they have received a lot of reports of failed mainboard and said there must be a bad batch of printers floating around.
I do not suggest this printer until OKI can fix their problems.
