Great stroller upgrade!
I had been searching for a compact stroller with all the features I wanted and this is it! I'm in Japan and my jogging stroller is way too big getting around in a country that specializes in miniaturizing everything. My son is 17 months, 32 lbs and 34 inches long. First of all this stroller was ready to roll right out the box! I only had to attach the belly bar, canopy and cup holder!!! This stroller fits my son perfectly and I should get great use out of it since the maximum weight capacity is 55lbs!. I love that it has a REMOVABLE and flexible belly bar which most umbrella strollers don't have in addition to the adjustable canopy with EXTRA coverage. And there is an adjustable leg rest which my son loves because his feet aren't touching the foot rest yet. Note: there are two levers hidden that you have to squeeze for it to go down. seemed to have everything we needed, but...
i was excited to use this stroller for our 22 month old for upcoming trips. this is what we needed in a stroller: light-weight for airports and strolling around towns, a reclining seat so our toddler could nap, a canopy that provided lots of shade (many trips to florida), an adjustable foot-rest so our toddler wouldn't have to dangle his feet when napping, and generally, just a comfy ride. the stroller seemed ideal, with all these elements plus more. cup holder, rain cover, fine sized basket, etc. we looked at mcclarens and the UPPA gluxe. we really wanted the gluxe 2011/2012 version but it's hard to find now, and thought mcclarens were overpriced for what we needed. the inglesina has very good reviews so we thought this would be a nice fit.
so when our toddler climbed into the stroller when we got it (he loved it immediately, another sign that this would be great), we noticed that the adjustable foot-rest extended past the front of the "bar" that he would normally set...
Just what I wanted
I usually never write reviews but I figured this stroller did not have many when I was researching lightweight strollers. When I was researching strollers I had narrowed it down to a few the Inglesina Trip, Uppa Baby G-luxe and the Chicco Echo. Between all of the strollers I was researching this one definitely won. I have only used it a few times but these are the Pros and cons I have come up with.
PROS:
*Cup holder
*Loveee the belly bar it is fantastic and you can attach snack cups and toys to it!(this sold me on the stroller)
*Comes with a rain cover
*great recline
*easy to maneuver
*Holds up to 55 pounds
*Comfy (not as comfy as the Uppa baby but the uppa is $230 with tax and I got Ingelsina for 169.99)
*Great sunshade
CONS:
*front wheels are a little wobbly but I think that is due to the fact that my son only weighs 18lbs ( Uppa's wheels were way worse. I actually had purchased that stroller first and returned it...
