Great, Fast Printer
I've only had this printer for one day (I'll update as I get more familiar with the printer if anything changes), but so far I'm very impressed. It replaced an ancient HP 2200 that was ready for the grave.
The 2055d is fast. It prints duplex without a problem. And it takes a large 21,000 toner cartridge that prices out pages at about 2 cents a copy. So far, so good. But I have to disagree with the complaints I saw on other site reviews about horrible HP customer service. I almost didn't buy this HP printer because of several horror stories of waiting over an hour on the phone for someone to answer, or being transferred to India where no one could help when someone finally did answer. My experience was completely different.
The unit comes with virtually zero documentation...everything "printed" is on a disk. When I inserted the disk and tried to install the software/drivers, I got an error message that Apple (I have a Mac) couldn't find the software and I...
