Great MFP for the Price

This replaced one of those throw away ink jets, well worth the price! Great scanning capability, relatively fast and quite.

Prints very well

The print quality is outstanding. The price of the printer is at the point where they can not offer some advanced features, but for the minimal amount of color printing I do, this was not an issue. Two examples are no auto duplex and the printer does not handle heavy card stock well. Again, at this price point it would be hard to expect absolutely everything. The print quality far exceeds the Epson Inkjet it replaced at a lower price point.

Great printer, time-consuming to install, doesn't work when one ink cartridge is empty
Lets start with, this printer is fast, quiet, hassle free and makes great prints (thus the 5-stars). It was very difficult to setup (and I'm a computer programmer) The Dell C1765nf MFP that I bought from ANTONLINE had some very strange setup problem. After a couple hours on my own, Dell customer service worked with me for another hour or so. They finally discovered that for some unknown reason, the "Print Processor" (you get to it by printer properties->Advanced->Print Processor ) needed to be changed from its usual value of winprint to the next one up on the menu called dltfm1zPPS. Furthermore, the installation disk put a bunch of programs on my computer to do with cloud printing that I didn't want. The printer does print nice and quick though. It does not print on photo paper, only regular paper. When you run out of ink for one cartridge, the printer stops, it will not print unless all 4 cartridges have ink. You will not get a warning (at least I did not see one) before the...
