Good Product; Short Shelf-life
When I was stroller shopping, it was very important for me to find a stroller with a bassinet option. In general, I like to have my baby in the infant car seat for as little time as possible, so this provided a good (but pricey) alternative for me for about the first month of her life. We also had a summer baby, so the idea of having the baby in the infant car seat during a hot, Virginia summer was really unappealing to me.
Some ways I found the bassinet useful:
It was really useful when my husband and I would have dinner on the deck and she could sleep outside in her bassinet. We also used it when we went to the pool and she could lay in the shade for a little bit without getting overheated. We actually used this as her primary bassinet for sleeping at night for the first month of her life. It is very well made and the bed of the bassinet is removable and washable which is essential! First Time Parent and I love this pram
I love that he is able to be completely covered up so that no one can see him. Which has come in handy during this flu season.
I love that I don't have to have an infant car seat because 1. I can't carry them due to a bad shoulder, 2. I wanted to buy a convertible car seat and not have to buy multiples.
This pram also makes me feel like he is completely safe within the stroller and not exposed to the world like he would be in others.
The ability to take off the pram is nice for when we go to visit people and I need a place to put him/ change him.
