Very handsome car, child loves it, but it needs some upgrades badly...
This is my first remote car so I didn't know what to expect. For looks, it's just great. Looks like an F430, and for less than $200, I think it's decent, but there are areas it needs to be improved:
1. Movement is all on or all off. It really jerks the childs head around. It really needs a 2 stage throttle, ie, Low/high, or better yet a real progressive throttle. It's just too jerky for me.
2. One wheel wonder. Ie, does not have a solid rear axle or posi. This may sound stupid, but the problem is on tile and hardwood floors, due to the power of the motor, it spins the one drive wheel and actually turns the car right. It's very hard to go left on tile. You have to turn the wheel all way to the left and even then you only can go straight or slightly left. If you keep the wheels straight and hit the gas, the car goes right. Also on gravel or anything other than carpet or brick/pavers, it's easy to get stuck. Forget going up or down slight elevation changes. ie from...
