Love this stroller SO MUCH!
I have the Grand Safari Double Jogger, and I just purchased the single as well. (I never know how many munchkins I will have with me.) This jogger is fantastic, and has all the features I need.
This jogger features pneumatic tires, a swivel front wheel that can be fixed if needed, a lambskin cushion, and MP3 player speaker. All these features are great and I love them but they're not the ones that were most important to me. I use my jogger as my every day stroller so I also wanted a storage basket to hold jackets, a connector for an infant bucket seat (the double jogger does not have this feature but the single one does), and most importantly, cup holders for the parent! I hate hate HATE strollers that don't have them, or just have the soft one that velcros on-they don't hold anything! Heavy but Sturdy
I am a former avid runner and getting back into light jogging (so far 1.5 - 3 miles, approx. 1-3 times per week). When my hand-me -down jogger broke, I was looking for a cheap(er), sturdy replacement. I just received this stroller and have not used it yet, but do have some comments for those looking to purchase:
- HEAVY. The Amazon product info does not include the weight and I did not look it up before purchasing it, but the assembled stroller has to be in the low 30lb range. The manufacturer's webpage says "carton weight" is 37.5lbs. It does have two carrying handles on it by the tray (probably two b/c of the weight!). I imagine it would be very difficult/impossible to carry it with one hand and carry your child in the other. If your child can wait in the carseat or sit/stand while you set it up, this may not be an issue. (This could also be the upper body workout part of your exercise routine. Ha!)
- The latch that keeps the folded up stroller closed...
