The City Select is better for twins - higher weight limit than Britax
With three kids under four, including twins, I've had my fair share of double strollers. The Baby Jogger City Select and the Britax B -Ready look very similar, but they're not when used in doubles mode. Which stroller is better really depends on the age of your kids. For my twins or different age kids, I found the City Select had more advantages. However, if your kids are not close in age or weight, the Britax is worth looking at.
Some considerations:
* The City Select stroller was Baby Gizmo's top tandem stroller in 2010 -- the 2011 model has been redesigned with deeper and firmer seats, improving an already excellent stroller. The Britax B-Ready is a first-generation stroller and still has some areas that could be improved upon.
* Of the two, the City Select is a better stroller for twins because of the 45 lb. max weight allowance for each of its full-size seats (child weight + baggage for a total of 90 lbs max for the stroller), foot wells that...

After much research and many test drives we settled on the Britax B-Ready stroller with this 2nd seat. After a couple months and lots of walks and trips to the mall and zoo we are still very pleased with our choice.
The Britax 2nd seat sets itself apart from some of the comparable Phil & Teds models we looked at in that it has a sun canopy, it reclines, and you can fold the stroller with the rumble seat attached. Being able to fold the stroller without taking this seat off was a MUST for me. I've got my hands plenty full as it is and didn't want to need to be disassembling a stroller in a parking lot in the rain/snow/heat. The recline feature is fantastic for my now 4mo old. She loves to sit up while she's awake, but when she falls asleep the recline is very smooth, quiet, and easy. The sun shade could be larger. It doesn't cover all that well when the seat is reclined, but it's sure better than nothing!
I would definitely buy the B-Ready and this 2nd seat again...

I received this seat when I purchased the b ready stroller during the free ride event. I'm due with our 5th baby in sept, and needed a stroller that I could use for our newborn and our 2 year old. This seemed like the prefect solution.
I will say, I was worried about our 2 year being happy in the bottom of the stroller. But, just as the other reviewers have said.....he ended up loving it!! (It must be a toddler thing. Haha maybe it makes them feel like they are in a fort, lol) At any rate, he loves being in the bottom, and I have found that he is more likely to nap in the bottom, vs the top seat. I think it's due to being more "covered" so there are fewer distractions.
I love that it reclines!! Seriously, we were at an outdoor event a few weekends ago, and I placed my friends newborn in the bottom seat, fully reclined, while we walked around. (She had forgotten her wrap and was tired of carrying her sleeping baby). Not only did she sleep the entire time, but...
