Best stroller for twins, after much trial and error
I have the Baby Jogger City Select with Second Seat and I love it. No stroller is perfect, but of the doubles I've had (Maclaren Twin Tecno, Maclaren Triumph and Bob Duallie), this is my go-to everyday stroller because it is the narrowest, goes anywhere and folds compactly. If I had to do it over, this probably would have been my only stroller - I just wish I had known about it before buying the others!
All these strollers can be used with my 8-month old twins and with my 41" preschooler. However, the City Select is by far the most useful.
PROS:

Best stroller ever .... only for tiny kids!!!
After month and month of nerve wrecking research I found this to be the stroller for us. I love it, love it, love it!!! This stroller has all the bells and whistles I was looking for ...... IF it would only be bigger. After playing with it for 1 hour in the store, I finally gave up and decided NOT to buy it. I have a 3 month old girl and a 21 month old boy. My boy is 36 inch tall and weighs 30 lbs. He barely fits into this stroller. That means I would only be able to use it for a couple month as a double - if at all. Investing this kind of money ( $900 with all the add ons) I would hope to use this fabulous stroller a little longer. The 2011 model features a seat only 9 inch deep and a back rest hight of only 18.5 inch. The foot rest is way too short as well. Make sure to watch the Baby Gizmo Video Review. Heavy and Expensive but the Good Outweighs the Bad!
I did an insane amount of exhaustive stroller research, first of all. I drove myself crazy, but because I wanted to avoid the double stroller nightmare to begin with, I was determined to find one that didn't feel like maneuvering a jumbo jet through a supermarket.
I initially looked at Phil and Ted, because I wanted a jogging-capable stroller and theirs are so lightweight and compact. But after reading how many people had wheel issues and having too much experience with wheel issues myself, I was pushed in another direction.
The price was a little hard for me to get around at first, especially with all of the accessories being separate. I've never paid over $150 for a stroller, but then again I've never used a stroller for longer than maybe a year or so before I find something I don't like about it. I always end up selling them for maybe $30 or $40 and I've probably collectively spent at least the cost of the BJCS replacing strollers I didn't love.
