bare bones product

Arrived in a large box:) What you get a a lightly constructed laser all in one printer. There is no user guide/manual. It is a USB compliant printer but no USB cord included. If you down load a users manual from dell you get a gigantic pdf with well over one hundred pages. Dell printer support really sucks when it comes to getting manuals. They don't tell you there is a web site [...] that takes the mystery out of installing the printer. Connect the printer usb to the computer. Use the printer CD and your ready.

Fits the BUDGET

I like this printer! Why three stars? Because it does not come with the USB cord! Granted the USB cord is just couple of bucks but I find it a little inconvenience purchasing a separate component just to make this printer work! Other than that, the functionality is good! It prints, copies and scans really nice and quick! So far it hasn't given me any jamming problems like other reviewers BUT I will post an update as soon as I find anything...

IF you are like me that is looking for just an everyday home printing then I think this will work perfect for you! Unless you want colored (ERRR... this is mono LOL)

This is a very reasonable laser all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/fax in my opinion!

Works Great, Heavy Office Use
I bought this brand because of the Dell name, and I had another printer that I love that is also a Dell. I was initially worried about the quality because it is a very inexpensive printer. So,
I waited to review this product because I wanted to see how it would perform at my office. I use it for scanning efaxes, network printing, and of course copying. I had one slight problem with the software and my antivirus, but I fixed that and it works better than expected. The toner is reasonable, which is very important! Be sure to install the networking software and the scanner software, it makes it easier to scan images. I use both the PC software, and the panel on the front. The scanning is a little slow, but the scans are very good. I like that I can choose the format on each image, and even scan multiple pages in ONE pdf file! This scanner also has a card function that I LOVE! You press the button and you can copy an insurance card on one page, this function alone saves...
