Excellent printer. Photos are just amazing.
I chose this printer to replace my old Pixma Pro9500, which after 6 years of faithful service, and hundreds of prints finally quit working. I will have to say that this printer does an even better job than the Pro9500. It prints much faster, and the color profiles are spot on. I had printed out a couple of test targets with my old printer, and although they were close to my profiled monitor, they did require a little tweaking. I have not had to tweak any of the profiles for this printer. Colors are vivid, deep and rich and the blacks are incredible. I have printed on all of the Canon papers, from Matte to Museum Etching and all of the Glossy papers with beautiful results.
I highly recommend this printer to anyone that needs accurate colors and long lasting prints. All of my clients rave about the quality of their prints. I also photograph my wife's paintings for her portfolio, and to see the photos next to the paintings make you realize just what a fantastic job this...
