Much to like but also leaves much to be desired

My wife and I live in Manhattan and we spend a good amount of time walking in the city. With that in mind, what we like about the Cruz is:
-the extra room the basket offers;
-it's strong, reliable shape, especially good when maneuvering across an uneven sidewalk and through snow;
-the ability of the baby seat to face forward or backwards;
-the extendable sunshade to protect the baby from sun brightness.

However, what surprised us on the downside is that the Cruz is:
-extremely difficult to fold; as a matter of fact, it is practically impossible to handle while holding baby, and the unfolding is just as bad as the folding, as it often gets "stuck" on the lever holding it together;
-even when fully collapsed, it takes up a LOT of room, particularly in your trunk;
-we bought the travel bag (don't even try it); the design is unfriendly and it takes forever to fit it in even after taking half of the stroller apart.

We have the Vista and bought the Cruz for travel. Great buy and one of the best out there for stroller storage space. The foot muff we used for the Vista fits for this as well. Sturdy stroller and rides comfortably.

Responsive as a sports car and great for tall people!

After much research, my daughter requested this stroller for her first child. It seemed way overpriced when I thought of everything else that money could buy and also what I spent on her stroller 28 years ago. But it is so well designed with the option to use a car seat as the seat, the well thought out storage, the ability to turn the seat to face you, the "moon roof" and more. It moves and turns well and for such a "loaded up" model, it is surprisingly light. My sone in law is over six feet tall and my daughter 5'10. The adjustable handle extends enough for them. A great and attractive stroller. I'd say well worth the money but that will only happen if it lasts through more than one child and possibly for others as it is lent out in later years. I expect a lot for nearly $500
